generation to generation

i'm from generation y.

we live in generation x's shadow, dealing with what they had (very little), and trying to make sense of what we can live with while keeping humble, while generation z flaunts everything they were born with.

how do we compete?

financial inept

it's just ocurred to me, that this Recession is hitting me more than i thought it would.
this is quite possibly the worst time in my life right now. why?  ill list the reasons, hoping that this will never ever have to happen to me ever again.

1.) mortgage begins in january 2009
2.) i am still highly in debt due to poor choices i made when i moved here
3.) i am  unemployed as i voluntarily left my job
4.) we are moving into our house with no large appliances - which brings us to 5.) 6.) and 7.)
5.) yet to buy a TV
6.) yet to buy a washer and dryer
7.) yet to buy a couch
8.) job market is the worst i have ever seen. people that have been laid off are now competing with me for a job
9.) all of the jobs that i have interviewed for have been giving me the 'runaround' due to recession and the holiday season busy-ness
10.) okay and I'm a little overweight.
11.) and the cherry to top it all off, my parents who helped my brotehr w/ his first purchase with furniture, and downpayment.. aren't helping me because my mother is falling decrepitally mentally ill and hate the entire world.
12.) one more thing. it's Christmas, the worst holiday in my humble opinion.

If Jesus Christ were alive today, he would be shaking his head at how pathetic his birth turned into a commercially psychotic world.

For this, I cry.

Sonia, i need you. :(

Acai

I bought my first bottle of Monavie online on Thursday, and guess what came in the mail this morning? I just had my first shot. Surprisingly very very tasty. Who would have thought.

Twice a day and then we'll see.
